Hoary Skullcap (Scutellaria incana)

A beautiful addition to the shade and partial shade garden, a prolific bloomer with beautiful red stems and interesting seed heads in fall and winter. They are often thought to be part of the legume family but in fact they are in the mint family and as such they are unpalatable to deer.
